Jump Gold Selection
Drool-worthy scans !

What is Jump Gold Selection ?

Jump Gold Selection are three art-books, completely devoted to the Saint Seiya TV series. They were available on the French market in the late 80-ies, and were never since reedited. It turned out that they were actually revised editions of the Shonen Jump Weekly magazine, rather than genuine art books. These booklets have around 130 pages each, and are consisted more of a newsprint than the colored paper, but the contents is excellent none the less. Most Saint Seiya fans in Europe feel frustrated knowing about ridiculous prize these pieces have in Japan, while they're forced to pay a little fortune on the various auctions if they want to obtain some (which is however logical, since it's about rare and non-reedited booklets).
I found these information on the Ludovic Gottigny's site, where you can read official side stories and 'feel' the Jump Gold Selection atmosphere. So if you can reed French, don't miss to visit his
Burning Blood Site ! ^-^

Still ...

It's thanks to Stayka and other kind people who scanned and uploaded their treasure on the web to share it with the rest of us, that we can now admire all the gorgeous images from these books. Here are Leo Aiolia JGS pictures, all provided by Stayka. The rest of Jump Gold Selection scans you can find on various locations - at Stayka's Saint Seiya Images page, above mentioned Burning Blood, Boadicea's Image Gallery, French association Memorial Saints , to mention only few of them. More links to other worthy image-temples you can find on my
